Our Mission
Ipsa Consulting is a female-led marketing consultancy that works with organisations and individuals that want to grow, responsibly.
We support and nurture underrepresented female talent and create positive impact for external female-focussed non-profits. By creating job opportunities for traditionally underrepresented female talent, and donating the equivalent of 5% profit in volunteer time to help non-profits that create economic advantage for women and environmental improvements by women.
Cath Harris
Lead Consultant, Cath Harris is known for her bold ideas and straight-forward approach. Her breadth of experience spans 16 years with clients ranging from multinational corporates to cottage-industry creatives, and everything in between. Clients like Cath’s energy – she’s tenacious and driven, yet down to earth and reflective.
Cath’s Story
In 2007, Cath graduated from the University of the West of England with a joint honors degree in film and cultural media. It was through this experience she realised that media wasn’t just for entertainment purposes and upon graduation sought a role where she could flex her creative muscles whilst feeding her curiosity. It just so happened that this was the same time that Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn were burgeoning as social media platforms and thus her career in marketing was born.
Over the next decade, Cath built internal marketing departments, led creative studios, and set up an award-winning digital agency.
By 2016, she was suffering from burnout and took time out to reevaluate work-life balance and career priorities. By the start of 2017, the first iteration of Ipsa was born working as freelance marketing support for ethical companies and charities. But Cath knew that she needed to add more value to her clients by taking a deep dive into the intersection between capitalism and sustainability.
In 2019, Cath was awarded a scholarship to complete an MBA from the University of Exeter where she took a year out from full-time work to focus on studying sustainability, leadership and international development.
Cath is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a professional certificate in sustainability reporting from GRI.
Shall we work together? (You’ll be in very capable hands.)
