Beyond Humanitarian Aid: Empowering Women, Transforming Economies

Client: Women for Women International

Location: Global

The Problem

The charity was mid-restructure and a new leadership team was settling into their respective roles. Whilst the organisation would ordinarily have the capacity in house for a project like this, they were short on time and needed a specialist to step in at short notice. We were asked to write an annual report to summarise the operational and financial successes and failures for the previous year.

What we did

Looking at the charity’s previous annual reports and borrowing their structure, and in line with the brand’s tone of voice guides, we copywrote an annual report. We collated stories from individual women that had been through one of the programmes and used their voices to strengthen the impact created. We took strategic plans and mapped each section against their financial and operational results, then used any gaps to create opportunities for the future.
